“Born in Paris, Sophie also lived in Chi ago and Munich before settling in Barcelona in 2005.
She discovered yoga in Munich with Patrick Broome and Gabriella Boznic in the first European Jivamukti studio. She started practicing for 6 months and then left it for the next 10 years.
It was while living in Barcelona that she stumbled upon Olga’s then Janna yoga studio and this was the start of a big change in her life.
Convinced that yoga is the most effective, peaceful, loving and needed revolution she hopes to be able to practice, teach and learn until her last exhale.
Sophie is eternally grateful to her teachers David and Sharon, Yogeshwari, Lady Ruth, Jules Fevre and Olga Oskorbina.

Emanuela: I was born and raised in Italy. Studied and worked in Prague for 10 years in the movie business.
I became a mother in 2005 and since then I chose not to go back to the stressful pace of the film industry. That is when yoga came into my life!
In 2007 I met my first Jivamukti teacher: Yogeswari. It was love at first class!
Two years later I was blessed to attend Sharon Gannon and David Life’s workshop in Rome, since then I walked the Jivamukti path until 2011 I took JIVAMUKTI TEACHER TRAINING course with my beloved gurus. In 2016 I became an Advanced Certified in Jivamukti Yoga method.
It has been a life changing experience at several different levels. Walking the path of liberation is possible HERE & NOW
Since then I have been teaching in Italy, Canaries islands and finally here in Barcelona.
Yoga is an amazing experience that can open unexpected prospectives in front of our eyes. All we need to do is..open up.. let go. Allow the practice to do its magic.
