Combining knowledge drawn from Jivamukti Yoga and Vipasana meditation, Olga is grateful for the opportunity to share the teachings and learn from other yogis and yoginis. Bringing asana practice, chanting, meditation and spiritual insights together on the principle that yoga is a path to liberation through love and compassion for all beings, Olga is continuing to pass on the teachings shared with her by her teachers.

Javier has studied Nursing, Naturopathy, Acupuncture, Therapeutic massage, Chiropractic, Kinesiology, Osteopathy, Nutrition and Dietetics, which gave him knowledge of anatomy, physiology and of both Eastern and Western theories on how our complex organism is functioning. He is a graduate of the Military School of Mountain and Special Operations and is a Security Director from University of Barcelona. He has Black Belt in five martial arts disciplines. With twenty years of experience as a martial arts teacher, he is currently teaching Gracie Jiu Jitsu and Muay Thai. In 2015 Javier was certified as a Jivamukti Yoga teacher. He is a co-founder of Jivamukti Yoga Barcelona with his wife Olga Oskorbina. He believes in the philosophy of yoga as being complete for the integral development of human being and along with his wife and all the Jivamukti family promotes love for all sentient beings, focusing his priorities in this project.
Karina is an Advanced Certified Jivamukti Yoga Teacher and Thai massage Therapist. She was born in Latvia but lived in USA, France, UK and can call Barcelona her home. She studied in Mandiram Yoga Dinamico in Barcelona to begin with and continued her training in Krishnamacharya Yoga Mandiram. She is dedicated to Jivamukti yoga method since 2012 because it “adapts ancient teachings to the modern urban lifestyle”. In her classes Karina opens a space for self-understanding and growth, her experience in Thai Massage helps her understand the energy body and assist the students toward more focused and elevated practice.
Maria is an 800 hour Advanced Certified Jivamukti teacher. She was born in Madrid, and lived abroad for thirty years in the US, Europe and Latin America before coming to live in Barcelona with her husband and three children in 2014. Maria has been practicing yoga since 2000 and Jivamukti’s focus on a dynamic practice that places strong emphasis on scriptures and on the well being of all, has magnetized her since she discovered the method with Yogeswari in 2001.
In 2016 she had the fortune of doing her 800 hour apprenticeship with Jules Febre whose creativity, energy and his demand for excellence has pushed her to try to want to always become a better, more knowledgeable teacher who can better serve all students.
Maria is also trained in yoga for trauma, addiction, depression and anxiety and works with individuals and groups to offer them a practice that can best complement the traditional therapy they receive.
Maria is a writer who has published fiction short stories and contributes in several blogs that focus on art and design – her previous profession, as well as articles on Yoga and Yoga therapy.
Zuzana is a 300 hr Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher and an inspiring artist. She started living Yoga in Slovakia in 2004 thanks to Vishwaguru Mahamandaleshwar Paramhans Sri Swami Maheshwarananda’s selfless mission to help people understand themselves and others, love and protect all living beings and environment. His system is called Yoga in daily life.
In 2012 Zuzana’s life path brought her to Jivamukti Yoga Barcelona. In Lokah samastha sukhino bhavantu she recognized the same precious message. She is profoundly grateful to Swamiji and Olga for guidance and support. After receiving teachings from Jules Febre, Rima Rani, David Life and Sharon she is willing to share them with others.
“Born in Paris, Sophie also lived in Chi ago and Munich before settling in Barcelona in 2005.
She discovered yoga in Munich with Patrick Broome and Gabriella Boznic in the first European Jivamukti studio. She started practicing for 6 months and then left it for the next 10 years.
It was while living in Barcelona that she stumbled upon Olga’s then Janna yoga studio and this was the start of a big change in her life.
Convinced that yoga is the most effective, peaceful, loving and needed revolution she hopes to be able to practice, teach and learn until her last exhale.

300 hours certified Jivamukti Teacher 2015
Luisa was born in Teruel and grew up in a small village in the province Cortes de Aragón, Spain. To continue her studies she moved to Zaragoza where she lived for 13 years and began her studies in Mathematics. She received her Mathematics degree in Barcelona where she currently works in Informatics.
In the year 2000 Luisa began to practice Hatha Yoga and in 2009 completed a three year Hatha yoga teacher training. In 2012, through Olga Oskorbina, she came to know Jivamukti Yoga and in June 2013 graduated as a Certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher from 300 hour teacher training in Costa Rica. At the present Luisa works in Informatics, practices and teaches Jivamukti yoga in Barcelona.
Hoda began practicing yoga in 2015 to find relief from debilitating, chronic pain.
In her practice, she found the space she needed, in her body and her mind, to be able to let go of her career and home in California to pursue her passions. From the transformational experiences that followed, Hoda found the courage to answer her calling to share the practice of yoga with others.
As a yoga teacher, she offers the lessons she has learned on her journey to find peace and love within, and takes pride in creating a safe and welcoming space for others to do the same.
Hoda is a mentee of Olga Oskorbina in the 800-Hour Jivamukti Teacher Apprenticeship Program.
Born in Moscow, Russia, Varvara is an 800 hours certified Jivamukti Yoga teacher. She moved to Paris, France, in 2004 to complete her degree in Fine Art and Design at Parsons School of Design. Although Varvara has been practicing Yoga since 2005, she found endless love and kindness in the Jivamukti Yoga method. She is grateful to Sharon and David’s contribution to the planet that has, and will continue to change the world for the better. Varvara is deeply humbled by the opportunity to pass on the ancient teachings of yoga through the lineage of the Jivamukti Yoga School.
She received her 300h Jivamukti Yoga method knowledge from David Life in Costa Rica. Later in New York City she was mentored for 500h by Jeanine Darconte, whose abundant knowledge of the Jivamukti Yoga method as well as her patience, love and guidance made Varvara a skilful teacher.
One of her greatest accomplishments is her dedication to a strict vegan diet and zero alcohol lifestyle. When one realizes that animals are people, too, then yoga is possible. OM Shanti.
